Hunza Valley

Hunza is a district in Pakistan’s northern area in Gilgit Baltistan region. This is the last district bordering with China’s Xinjiang province. This rich cultural valley is famous for tourism in Pakistan. High altitude peaks, lakes and valleys are the main reason for tourism in this area. Hunza valley lies in Karakoram range considered one of the biggest mountain ranges in the world. People of Hunza valley speak brushiski language and famous for hospitality. Valley is connected thorough a beautiful 1300KM long Karakoram Highway.  We arrange fixed departure group tours to Hunza valley every month from January to December. In our 10 days trip from Karachi and Islamabad we cover all famous destinations like Besham, Chilas, Nanga Parbat view point, World’s three highest mountains, Gilgit city and Rakaposhi view point.

Royal’s Adventure Club dedicate a complete day for central Hunza valley called Karimabad. In this day we walk in the valley to experience the local culture of people of Hunza valley. Baltit and Altit forts are the main key attractions of this day where we arrange a complete guided trip by a local guide and brief our guests about these two forts in Hunza Valley. Karimabad main market is famous for its handicraft and local food. We provide few ours to explore the market to taste every bite of the organic food. In the evening we go for Eagles nest view point in duiker valley where we witness the sunset over four peaks of Karakoram mountain range.

UPPER HUNZA VALLEY is one of the spectacular places on earth. While travelling on Karakoram Highway (KKH) our customers enjoy the beautiful view of Attabad lake and organic villages of upper Hunza Gojal valley. We stop for valley in Gulmit village to capture the local lifestyle of the village. Bulbulik music school is the key attraction in this village where they arrange classes for local students for music.

HUSSAINI suspension bridge is a 300 meters long wooden suspended bridge with iron ropes is one of the most adventurous part of this trip. Royal’s Adventure Club guide will take you through the Hussaini village all the way to Hunza river where you will be given time to cross the bridge. Its really a fun activity. You can go for a small hike towards Borith lake a one of the beautiful lakes surrounded by high altitude peaks.

PASSU is one of our recommended village of the upper Hunza valley even we provide a one night stay in Passu Tourist Lodge. Its one of the beautiful hotels on Karakoram Highway. where you can enjoy passu cones while having your breakfast. In the evening you can go for long walk in the passu village or you may go for a little hike for Passu glaciers.

SOST is one of the last towns on Karakoram Highway while going towards china. It is also called the dry port of Pakistan. There are many shops and cafes in this small but beautiful town where you can find all chines products and delicious chines food. Sost is also the last check point where Pakistan immigration stamps your passport if you are going to china. Every day few buses goes from Sost to Tashkurgan a Chinese city on the other side of border. There are few villages ahead of sost but those are only accessible by jeeps only. Chapurson bordering with Afghanistan’s Wakhan corridor and Misgar valley are the most beautiful and organic valleys in upper Hunza district.

KHUNJRAB NATIONAL PARK is one of the highest national parks in the world also it considered the highest crossing point between two countries. Khunjrab is Hunza’s the highest destination 17000 feet and it is reachable by any of the car motorcycle through Karakoram Highway. 60 KM travel from sost to Khunjrab border between Pakistan and china provides spectacular views while travelling on Karakoram highway. The border between Pakistan and China is open between April to November every year. We provide enough time for our customer to explore this area in day time and then we return to our hotel in Passu in the evening. Royal’s Adventure Club (Pvt) Ltd.
